Travel insurance for each itinerary of

your insurers. In particular, you should ensure that the following are covered:
1) Activity (i.e., tourism, trekking or mountaineering) 2) Maximum altitude
that can be reached during trekking 3) Evacuation of the helicopter in an
emergency. You should understand that you will bear the cost of the evacuation
and return procedures and that it is your responsibility to pay for the
evacuation or medical treatment. You must be fully aware of the effects of
travel insurance and understand the limitations and exclusions of your policy.
Please note that in certain circumstances, our company guide may initiate
helicopter rescue operations (or other necessary operations) in medical
emergencies without first seeking approval from your insurance company.
Trekking guides and other crew arrangements
The most important thing that makes this
trip enjoyable and unforgettable are the experienced, polite, and helpful
guides and the crew that can make our days in the mountains go smoothly. The
best and most professional leaders lead our tour. All of our company staff are
carefully selected based on their appropriate experience, leadership skills,
and personal talent. To preserve local communities, we try to employ only local
people who have sufficient knowledge of the culture, ecosystem, flora, fauna,
geography, and history of their region.
Climate and best season for this trek
The spring and fall seasons are
considered the best times for This Trek, as the weather and temperature are
calm and constant during these seasons. The spring months offer the flowering
of rhododendrons and many seasonal flowers. Autumn is also one of the best
times to explore, and you can enjoy various Nepalese festivals like Dashain and
Tihar.
Winter and summer are less suitable
compared to spring and autumn. In winter, the temperature level drops below
freezing, making it less pleasant to walk to higher regions. The days are cold,
followed by snowfall and snowstorms. Summer also comes with heavy rains and
unpredictable weather. However, with the right equipment, you can walk to the
Langtang region year-round.
Physical fitness and experience requirements
Ganjala Pass Trek is a medium difficulty
trek suitable for all passionate hikers who can hike around 5-7 hours a day
with a light backpack. Walking at higher altitudes is more physically exhausting
than at lower elevations, but if you are in excellent health with an average
physical condition and have a positive attitude, self-confidence, and strong
determination. Exercising and running regularly for a few weeks before the trip
is an excellent idea to improve your strength and stability. Previous hiking
experiences would be a bonus, but no technical knowledge is required for this
trip. For participants with existing conditions such as heart, lung, and blood
diseases, it is essential to consult your doctor before starting your journey.
It is also recommended that you inform us of your health before booking the
trek.
Proposed preparation
Generally
the trek is narrow where it rises steeply. It's probably the hardest high pass.
It is much longer and in many places almost as steep as the west face of Cho La
Pass in Everest
by Mike Tyson, USA
I have just
returned from Ganjala Pass. The beautiful Ganjala Pass is located between
Helambu and the Langtang Valley. Our guide Pema was top-notch, personable,
professional, very good at the place, and took good care of us. Without him, we
would not choose any other journey; It was so awesome. From the first contact
with Ganesh at this company, I knew they were the team to book with. All my
questions were answered immediately with the exact information I was looking
for. The walk itself, as I investigated, was hard, but very satisfying. Again,
our guide has taken all the necessary safety precautions so that we can
properly acclimatize and learn all the everyday things we would experience. He
asked about our physical health; Without this guide, we would not have
completed the hike as many other people we saw were evacuated due to
insufficient acclimatization and speed to travel properly. Many thanks to all
the teams. I can only recommend them and will always use them for other treks
in Nepal.
